We Stand With Ukraine
It's the fourth day of this madness and I still cannot believe what I see. I find it surreal that events comparable with wwII- bombing European capital, missile attacks on apartment buildings, shooting at preschools and ambulances, and killing civilians- are taking place in the 21st century, 160km from my home back in Poland. The war was never this close in my lifetime.
Thousands of lives were lost already during three days of this pointless war. And for what? So Russia is bigger? So Putin is remembered as conqueror? It seems that he will stop at nothing.
I find Ukrainians' spirit, will to fight, heroism and calmness in this horrific situation admirable.
